Reaching out to the community for Jesus is the main goal of IFM.
This is accomplished in major projects such as the church, clinic, and school. However, it is also accomplished in several smaller operations such as self-help, food distibution, local Bible schools, and helping individuals start small businesses.
Bible Studies
Bible studies are being conducted at a couple locations: Nan Plezi and The Projects. John Yutzy, pictured below, has been conducting these in the past year, but they will now be continued by Matthew Newcomer who will be taking John's place also at the IFM Children's Home.
Children's classes are also held at times in Nan Plezi (pictured below, right)

Well
Cool, clear, and clean drinking water is provided for the Haitian people near IFM. This necessity of life is not readily availible to many the Haitian people who use whatever water they can find to live. Just like the people of America, Haitians also need water to drink, cook, bath, and wash their clothes.

Andralis' Children
The deceased Andralis' 8 children (5 pictured below) are a group of brothers, sisters, and cousins that are either orphaned or from a broken home. These children live by themselves in a small house which was built for them by IFM. Each month they receive rice, beans, oil, butter, meat, tomato paste, and more along with some money from IFM to help them survive by themselves in Haiti.

Two Orphans
These two orphans also receive food monthly from IFM. They were orphaned at a young age and now life with another family.
IFM supplies them with rice, spaghetti, oil, meat, and various other food items.

Jesus Film Projects
While the August workteam was here, IFM had the privilege to show the "Jesus film" in various villages. The turnout was good, and hundreds of Haitians came every night to hear the life story of Jesus presented simply and excitingly with an invitation to accept Jesus afterward. Communicating to this number of people was achieved by using a projector, big sheet, a 1000 watt sound system, a 5 foot tall stage, and a new, small honda generator. With this new equipment IFM plans to show the film in various places to more eager Haitians, willing to hear to story of Jesus.
